OUR TEAM

ANDY KEMP

Andy has over 40 years of experience advising small and medium-sized businesses, sole traders, trusts, partnerships and companies. Andy’s experience includes 7 years working for HMRC in Soho, Central London and then as a specialist tax partner for a large accounting practice. He has also spent some years as finance director for an international group, working in, amongst other places, North and South America, Asia and the Far East and so has extensive international tax knowledge.  He acts as a non-executive director and trustee for clients and others when required.  With experience drawn from working in real trading businesses like yours, as well as accountancy practices and HMRC, Andy brings a wealth of real, practical experience to his advice.

TARA KEMP

Tara has over 18 years of accountancy and audit experience, including five years within a Big4 firm. Having started her career working with small and start-up businesses for a large Lincoln based practice, Tara has gained a real depth of knowledge across a wide range of industries varying in size from sole traders to PLC's enabling her to confidently provide advice and assistance

LIAM IONS

Liam is a FMAAT AATQB here at Astar having completed his AAT Accounting Qualification in 2017. Liam has worked for the practice for over seven years and now deals with a large client base across many business sectors. He has a lot of experience with cloud-based accounting software, mainly FreeAgent and Xero.
